  a) Sweat Pants: Color blocked sweat pants or trousers are good to go as a work wear. But the fabric used to make it must have cotton and wool or cotton and silk, woven together. Though the strings, used to tighten the pants, visible in the front of the pants are advised to be hidden.

b)Corporate skirts: These not only make dressing for work an easy task to do but also generate an acceptance level among the staffs. They help portray the required business culture at a pocket friendly cost. They are also one of the most durable work wears.

d)Corduroy and Leather Pants: Corduroy, velvet and leather pants have in today’s life replaced the age old tradition of wearing cotton twill pants. They have a great fall because of the fabric used. They also look good when draped well.

e)Jumpsuits: Jumpsuits for work should neither be too loose nor too large. But they should not have waist strings or bands. Though a belt can be used to highlight the waistline. A sleeveless jumpsuit demands a blazer whereas a low cut one demands a spaghetti within. A blazer adds to the aesthetic appeal of the jumpsuit.

Winter Fashion

“Nothing burns like the cold.” George R.R. Martin.

Fall winter, a season of colourful fashion, is about to set its foot in India. A cup of hot green tea is how I like to start my day with, in the chilling winters.  After which I gather the energy to move to my wardrobe and think of what to wear today. Bright colors add positive energies to my life, just like spices add flavor’s in my food. Mix-matching colourful prints and adding layers to my outfit, is how I choose to stay fashionable and spare myself from a chilling spine.

Here is a list of what-to-wear on a winter day, in a head to toe order:

  1. Beanies and ear-muffs: Playful beanies and ear-muffs look best when bright colored.
  2. Earrings: Geometric and chandelier earrings and even tops are classy fashion styles of winter.
  3. Necklaces: Floral, stoned, beaded or statement neckpiece, all are admired in this season.
  4. Stoles, mufflers and scarves: Fur stoles, colored mufflers and printed silk scarves is definitely what I look for, while shopping for my winter clothes.
  5. Gloves: Leather and Woolen gloves, both are a savior in icy winters.
  6. Shirts, skirts and trousers: Flannel, cashmere and silk shirts, skirts and trousers are the ones in the hit list of a trendy lass.
  7. Sweaters: Pastel colored crew neck sweaters, asymmetric capes with stripes or animal prints, retro inspired turtle neck sweaters, all are lovable in the winters.
  8. Jackets: Leather jackets, a classic fashion and the camouflaged jackets are my winter love.
  9. Blazers: Crimson red blazer over a pastel colored rayon top, is one of my favorite outfits for early winters.
  10. Coats: Statement or trench coats, are always in, protective and fashionable.
  11. Belts: Got a nice slim waist, clinch it with a belt! Broad belts better highlight the waistline.
  12. Tights and stockings: Winters demand stocking up on colorful woolen tights and stocking to reflect femininity. Though leather tights are also a hit amongst woman.
  13. Denims: Unraveled at hem or gently flared, Skinny or baggy, denims are evergreen and one of the best bottom wears to save from the biting cold.
  14. Sneakers and Ballerinas: Red sneakers or pastel nude color ballerinas are a must!
  15. Boots: Winters are incomplete without knee-high boots that best highlight long legs and have a wear anywhere appeal.

Here is a guide of how to wear the same:
  1. Use the color wheel to find the complimentary colors for your outfit.
  2. Make black and white your best friends when in doubt.
